Thirty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

November 7, 2004

VOCATION VIEW:  As the Church-year comes to a close, may the Lord Jesus strengthen your heart for every good work and word.  May you live your vocation.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

In today’s second reading, St. Paul prays that the Thessalonians may be strengthened “on every good work and word”.  May we, too, be strengthened and empowered as we use our time and our talents for the good of our Church, our families, our communities and the world.

Message from Fr. Bill McGrattan, Rector of St. Peter’s Seminary

Dear David:

On behalf of St. Peter’s Seminary, please accept my sincere appreciation for your support of the St. Peter’s Seminary Annual Parish Appeal.  The donations received from the parishioners throughout this Diocese will do much to help this seminary achieve its mission of educating and forming men for priesthood as well as women and men for lay ministry.

Please be assured of a remembrance in our weekly Mass for the intentions of our benefactors, and thank you for taking a leadership role on behalf of the Seminary in your parish.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Rev. W.T. McGrattan
